The five month long step-by-step program, specifically designed for the new managers to make a successful transition to the managerial ranks while honing their management and leadership potential, enabled them to learn skills suitable to their new roles while on the job.
The programme focused on three common challenges that all new managers face and need to overcome, namely;
- measuring their own work and the impact thereof, differently
- making time to manage effectively and
- restocking their own professional toolbox with critical managerial and leadership skills
Not only did the team leaders improve their technical, functional and interpersonal skills to navigate past these challenges successfully, they also gained confidence, courage and leadership stature.
